Sam is turning 50, and one party felt a little insufficient. 😏
So instead, he's picked five of his favorite places on Earth and turned his birthday into a year-long, choose-your-own adventure. Five epic trips for five completed decades, and you're invited.
Come to one. Come to several. Come to all five and we'll probably make you a jacket.

The plan
Sam doesn’t really do “a little.” Small party, quick lunch, early night: none of those have ever really been his thing.
These five places are some of Sam’s favorites anywhere: the mountains, beaches, long tables and late nights where the best memories of the last fifty years have happened.
For this birthday, he wanted to go back to them, and more than that, he wanted to bring his friends along. Sam feels incredibly fortunate to have the people he has in his life, and sharing these places with them is the whole point.
Could this have been one nice dinner? Technically, yes. But where’s the fun in that?
November 2026 · Costa Rica
A stunning house on the beach. Surfing at sunrise, yoga if you're virtuous, long lunches, big dinners, swimming, massages and hours of doing nothing together in the best possible way.

Early February 2027 · Switzerland
Skiing in the shadow of the Matterhorn, long mountain lunches, serious après, great hotels, excellent food and an entirely irresponsible amount of cheese.
VibeSki hard. Après hard. Fondue hard.
April 2027 · Colorado
Sam's home mountain at its absolute best. Spring skiing, sunshine, après, closing-day costumes and a big Saturday-night birthday party with friends from near and far.
VibeSki all day. Party all night.
July 2027 · Spain → Belgium
Ibiza for hidden calas, boats, seafood, sunsets and a couple of enormous nights out, followed by Tomorrowland in Belgium, because apparently one summer adventure wasn't extreme enough either.

Late September / Early October 2027 · Munich
Lederhosen. Dirndls. Brass bands. Giant beer tents. Pretzels the size of your head. One final, enormous toast to fifty.
